Are Ramon noodles good for you? Can you eat them every night for supper and be o.k.?

  1. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are over 30.  Half the people I know lived on ramen for 6 months while they were in college. In Japan they eat it everyday and you can even get it in vending machines. There's a ton of sodium in everything nowadays anyways.

    You can make them healtier by using something other than the flavor packet.  Cook the noodles and drain.  Cook some frozen mixed vegetable in a large pan until about done then add in the noodles and a egg that has been stirred some. Add in soy sauce and whatever.


  2. the instant noodles are fried so it is high in fat. discard the soup pack if you are worried about the sodium. not healthy at all for everyday eating

  3. It is better just to take as snack and not too often. Unless you discard the soup base and make your own, that would be better I think.

  4. No, it is not OK to eat that every day.  It is not health and lots of sodium.  You can also gain weight from it.

    Each serving still has close to 200 calories like the original Ramon noodles, but each serving has 4.5 grams of fat, and less than two grams of saturated fat.

  5. The sodium is the main issue.  It's definatly not a good idea to eat them every single day but a couple times a week might be OK.  I'm a college student, so just about everyone I know eats them often...but that doesn't mean they're good for you.

  6. I think as long as you balance it out with fruit and veggies, and all the other food guide things that you need, it's not a big deal. But maybe try to shake it up a bit by alternating and only eating them every second night.

  8. No because I have  friend who ate them every day and he got fat. Plus too much sodium can lead to a heart attack.
