Are Real Madrid A laughing stock in world football?

Over the last couple of years they have guaranteed the signature of Kaka, Fabregas and more recently Ronaldo. They have also just been forced into selling Robinho despite declaring recently he would not be sold.

When you hear a Real Madrid quote know do you just laugh or do you still see them as the power house of football?

Yeh, it's all about the Presidents ego and pay slip, they guarantee these things because they want to be elected or they want to guarantee the praise of the fans so they go on these wild missions to buy any player they want. It's ridiculous, however they are still a big club with a lot of prestige and great player will still join them but they don't have the power of money and persuasion they are used too.

Real Madrid are sneaky, two-faced, arrogant, pompous pricks. Players only go there for money and "glory". Luckily (and predictably) they have been c**p in UEFA CL. I hate to say this but I wish Zidane never played for them (it leaves a bad mark on his legacy). I'd rather he finish his career at Juve (shudders).

Real Madrid is the worst football club. Every year they target emerging star players from all leagues around the world and lure them for cash. They have also ruined Ronaldo's image amongst his ManUtd fans. Money, ca$h and business is their only priority.

Real Madrid thought they could bully anyone, and they've got what they deserve - neither of the 2 players they wanted.

Chelsea thought they could outbid anyone, and they've got what they deserved - outbidded by a richer club.

Manchester United get both the players they wanted - because Fergie is the Godfather of football!
