  1. And what experience he gained from those two years! LOL

Didn't he just use them to campaign for the presidency after assuring his constituency he'd stay and fix their problems first?

  2. She has just as much experience as Obama but on a much smaller scale. She was mayor of a small town in Alaska and was on the city council before becoming Governor, which she has been for a year and a half. I don't think that it is a good pick because she does not have any fame nationally (people don't know her). She has little to no foreign policy experience and will be matched up in debates against somebody who has about 3 times the experience of her and is an expert on foreign policy. Not a good pick at all for McCain. He should have went with Romney if he wanted to have any chance of winning. He should have picked somebody with more experience considering he is 72 and might die in office if elected. People need to have somebody then can see running the country if McCain dies in office. I don't think that Palin fits the bill.

  3. Governor Palin is a two term council member, a two term mayor, and current Governor of Alaska.  She has as much elected experience as Senator Obama and more executive experience than either of the Democrats on the national ticket.

    No filp-flop at all.

  4. No.  Palin is running for VP not President and her experience is actual executive experience of which Obama has none..

  5. Not at all.  Obama is heading his ticket while the Governor is the VP candidate.  However, her experience is executive experience which is what the vp and presidency is.  Obama's experience is in the legislative branch.

  6. Another flip-flop for the old Grand Party

  7. there is a big big difference between president and vice president.

  8. yeah, i thought that was such a dumb move!!!!! should of gone with romney

  9. Sarah has executive experience being a governor and is not a Washington insider. Obama went with the all boys club.  McCain/ Palin.  Change you can believe in.

  10. For starters, she has more applicable experience than Obama.

And secondly,  Obama is running for President not Vice President. I realize that the VP can step in at any time, but McCain seems to be quite healthy for his age.  Look at Ted Kennedy who is even 4 years older than McCain yet went through successful brain surgery.

  11. are you actually going to try and compare obama's 148 Senate days with Sarah Palin's time as Mayor and Governor???? At least her experience is executive, something obama totally lacks!

  12. Palin is a VP candidate while Obama is running for PRESIDENT.  Which office would you rather see filled with the "experienced" candidate?

  13. She has more experience than Obama.

  14. Running an entire state is more experience than pressing a Yea or Nay button once in a while.

  15. Since CNN has said nothing but "first term governor" when describing her all morning, but doesn't say "first term senator" when describing Obama, I would say it is the liberal side of the fence that is flipflopping.  She has been a Mayor and a Governor and McCain picked her because she is fresh and new and brings the next generation of republicans into the election (not all republicans are old, white, rich guys).
