...focused on much by the media? If anyone else had a "Troopergate" abuse of office scandal and investigation tied to them, would they get a free pass from the media like Palin is getting?

  1. are you FRICKEN KIDDING??? the media in this country are only SLIGHTLY to the right of the SUPREME SOVIET....

  2. NO !!

It is Obama that is getting the "celebrity" treatment by the liberal media !!

  3. YES - but just give it time, all this "Troopergate" mess will come to light....

  4. the trooper got fired for tasering his 10 year old son, the trooper hap penned to be Palin's ex brother in law, and the 10 year old son was her nephew, there has been no wrong doing suggested except by this one man, per the story you referenced:

"The accuser is blogger and rental car executive Andrew Halcro, a Republican-turned-Independent who lost to Palin in the 2006 governor's race."

  5. I am no Republican.  Unless she has some direct involvement in the trooper issue, however, the media should leave her out of it.  I don't care what her relatives do, I care what she does.  (just as I don't care about Obama's minister.)

  6. Yes. The whole "liberal media"  talking point is another Republican lie. There is only ONE liberal news program on CNN, MSNBC, or Fox and that is the Oberman countdown. The liberal media lie is yet another battle cry taken up by non-thinking Republican ditto heads who are incapable of drawing their own conclusions through any kind of intelligent thought process. They are all sheep, voting for a party controlled by the one percent who don't give a d**n about their family's needs and are too obtuse to realize it.

  7. Republicans = Corrupt

  8. It's been covered, but the 'press' isn't YA so it doesn't need to be covered over and over again, ad nauseum

There have been no new developments (except for the appointment of the lawyer), and it's not that much of a story

Her ex brother-in-law (Wooten, a cop) tasered her 11 year-old nephew (his own stepson), beat her sister (his wife), and threatened to kill her father...He was also caught drinking alcohol while driving his cruiser (several times), which is not allowed and calls for him to be fired...The person responsible for firing him refused to do it, so she fired that person...That person wasn't happy about that, so he called for an investigation...So, she is being investigated by the ethics committee (that SHE formed, btw) and she will be found not guilty of any wrongdoing

Palin wasn't the only one who had made complaints about his actions, either

"The personnel investigation began in April 2005, long before Palin became governor and months before her October 2005 announcement that she was running. The investigation into Wooten wrapped up in March 2006, before she was elected.

Troopers found four instances in which Wooten violated policy, broke the law, or both"

Sometimes when you fight corruption, the corrupt get pissed off and try to fight back...In this case, they don't have a leg to stand on.

Not really anything new to report yet

  10. TIME. Yeah, talk about biased media. Check some other more legitimate news sources.

  11. Apparently you are ignorant of the details covering the so=called troopergate scandal.

It is an investigation prompted by the Alaskan legislature.

The person thought to have been most wronged by Palin's supposed unethical actions holds no ill will towards her and does not tie his dismissal to the Trooper issue.

You people (Democrats) need new material.
