  1. Get inaugurated in January

  2. His choice was very detrimental to his campaign.

  3. obama is just pisssssssssssssssssssed that someone with foreign policy experience who finished her first term as a senator and not only that, is a Govenor! is taking his spot light away!well ain't that a shame pay back is a ***** now he knows how Hillary felt!

  4. He could have picked a VP with even less experience, like senator Obama for example *snickers*

  5. mimi, i wish i was as good as you, but i can't help but get influenced by everything i have been hearing.  it just gets worse and worse.  how could she do that to her own family i wonder.  she is stuck on the school systems providing proper s*x education which i am not against but it seems as though she has neglected her own children. i think her daughter was and is crying for attention and help.  she needs to do her part as a mom and for someone as busy as her i just do not think it is possible.  As for why senator mccain picked her, i will never know.  i just hope it is not to be unfaithful to his second wife.  anyway, that is my rant.  sorry if it has offended anyone and yes i definitely will hear her out.

  6. With Obama you have no room to speak.  Should  we list all his problems.

  7. Seems to be a more mainstream person than Obama.  I'm voting for McCain....let Obama go back to Trinity.

  8. The republicans are being 'shelled shocked' with this VP pic. Three days ago no one new any real detail about Sarah Palin.  They are all on the record praising her and saying how great she is as a Governor and a model conservative gun tooting christian mother raising a christian family.

Now they are trying to defend how this Governor that was against s*x education in high school, that preach abstinence for teenagers now have a pregnant 17 year old daughter.  Not to mention this report of them getting married soon, smells too much of a shotgun wedding.  A 17 year old is not prepared to raise a child or be married.

Many will challenge the vetting process of McCain.  It seems there was none.

"Aides to Mr. McCain said they had a team on the ground in Alaska now to look more thoroughly into Ms. Palin’s background. A Republican with ties to the campaign said the team assigned to vet Ms. Palin in Alaska had not arrived there until Thursday, a day before Mr. McCain stunned the political world with his vice-presidential choice. The campaign was still calling Republican operatives as late as Sunday night asking them to go to Alaska to deal with the unexpected candidacy of Ms. Palin.

Although the McCain campaign said that Mr. McCain had known about Bristol Palin’s pregnancy before he asked her mother to join him on the ticket and that he did not consider it disqualifying, top aides were vague on Monday about how and when he had learned of the pregnancy, and from whom."

This makes no sense, how can you vet someone in one day, and then announce them as your VP pick the next?  Again it seems McCain has let his party down.

Now their hands are tied with it being the RNC convention.  They must announce his VP pick by Thursday.  So there are 3 days left to throw Palin under the bus, and select Romney, or grin and bear the criticism of this VP selection.

  9. fog?  what the h**l are you talking about?

the McCain/Palin ticket is in a virtual tie in the polls and gaining ground daily.  they are raising millions since the announcement and the bounce from this and the expected publicity is going to push them over the top.

that is not fog.  that is burning rubber from you Dems being left in the dust of a passing Cadillac.  breathe in deep.  the contact high you get may be your last.

  10. Not really a fog--they're just listening solely to the right-wing noise machine as usual.  If only we could all turn off Fox and Rush long enough for the right to come to their senses.  It would be like waking up after being hypnotized for a long time!

Also, he did not have Palin vetted:

  11. she is incredibly inexperienced and isn't even intelligent, I have no problem with a woman in politics, but she is awful.

  12. hopefully next he'll say he was kidding about Palin and announce Mitt Romney as his real vp.

  13. I'm not a Republican, but I am keeping an open mind until I hear from Palin. I have not even heard her speak except for 2 minutes. I refuse to allow my opportunity to hear her with an open mind be taken away by those who have their minds made up already.  I have that right.

  14. No, they are walking in deep S**t.

  15. I think he made a good choice. She has more experience than Obama.

  16. Oh contraire monfraire.
