Question:

Are Russia and Cuba reviving their ties?

Yahoo news mentioned that Russia and Cuba are supposedly trying to revive their ties. Having lived through the Cuban missile crisis as a child, I'm not interested in repeating the experience. What should the White House do? What are the likely responses of our Presidential candidates to this development?

  2. Continue our current method.  Anything they want we say NO you don't exist.

  3. Yes, Russia is sending a clear message to the so called "missile defense system" in Poland & Czech Republic;-p

Those defense systems certainly smell like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  4. Perhaps bush should try to redeem himself before the final boot comes to him by not putting useless $$$ missiles on the boarder states of the Soviet russia and acting like he has a l**k of sense and really talking with PUTIN about the current digressions of sin!!!! if not h**l I'm in Florida so the missile trails would look pretty right before the mushrooms burn my eyes out but my faith would protect me just not my flesh....lol...chow buddy f.p

  5. It would be hard, as even though Russia is on the rebound both in  economic and military might, they are still a ways off before being able to base missile's and Cuba again, although I am sure they have plans to do so.

  6. That doesn't come as a surprise considering the agreement that we've signed with Poland.  I guess at this point it's a wait and see situation to find out if it's truly a threat.  I just happened to be here in the states during that era (was here for eighteen months that time), and remember that crisis very well.  It was indeed very scary!
