Are SIMS snowboards a good brand ?

I'm looking to buy a new snowboard and i'm just wondering.

and see what the majority of people say. There's reviews written by riders on a ton of different brands, but there's not many reviews and they only go up to board for the year 2003. Still decent to look at though. Hope that helps!

Sims are one of the first snowboarding companys and used to make great boards. Unfortunately like Morrow and Lamar they are not the company that they used to be, and there products are not of the same high standard. Having said that they arnt terrible but there are alot better brands out there that you could spend your money on, Good luck with the riding.

Never heard about Sims. I think the best are Burton, Salomon, Head.

Dang yo, Tom Sims was one of the snowboarding pioneers.  As it was around, maybe before Burton.  Jeez, sad to see all these people who don't know that.  Sims never got that big.  I heard their boards went downhill a couple of years ago, but I heard last season that they're trying to make a comeback.  Not many people ride a Sims board, and I've only seen the Sports Authority carry them.  If it's your first board, and pretty cheap, I'd go for it.
