  1. prob. depends on who is making them.

  2. Um... HELLOOOOOO!!!

I guess you don't really REMEMBER the way a Shamrock Shake TASTES!!!

    IT TASTES LIKE MINT!!!!!!!!!

If it was just a vanilla shake with green food coloring you wouldn't taste the green, now would you???

So YES... there HAS TO BE mint flavoring in there too!!!

You could also get one Vanilla Shake and one Shamrock Shake and taste the difference...  If the Shamrock Shake were really just a Vanilla Shake with green dye, then they would taste EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!  Wouldn't they??

Check out what it says over on Wikipedia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamrock_Sh...

    Flavored with "MINT EXTRACT"!!!

  3. YES>

  4. Minty goodness.

  5. No the Shamrock Shake is obviously not vanilla dyed green. The milkshake tastes like mint, this obviously means its not vanilla. The syrup for the Shamrock Shake comes in its own bottle and is mixed with the shake mix seprate from other flavours. This is the same for chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

  6. its mint flavouring AND green food dye

  7. Um yea they put mint in there! Next time you get one if you see the darker green sitting on top dip your finger in that and taste it! Its mint! Thats what makes it green is the mint not food coloring!

  8. It is vanilla shake with green food coloring, I lkie them too with a little whipped cream.

  9. i have no idea and i don't take someone else's word for it..  on wikipedia it says they are vanilla but people keep swearing they are mint..  i might just have to get one and decide for myself..

  10. just food coloring..i love em too!

  11. McDonald's Shamrock Shakes have both Mint and Green coloring.

    Here's a "copy cat" recipe:

2 cups vanilla ice cream or soy ice cream

    1 1/4 cups 2% low-fat milk or soymilk

    1/4 teaspoon mint extract

    8 drops green food coloring
