I have a siamese cat, she doesnt talk much. But she's very frisky, runs all over the house. She likes to fetch and she will fetch anything! Toliet paper is her favorite, she's dragged the hall rug, she takes my bras and runs with them! Is this normal?

  1. Yes it's true; a Siamese is much more like a dog than a cat.  It is typical siamese behavior.  That's why I love the breed so much.

And if they're like this, they will stay this way.  It just shows she's healthy and happy and that you're a good cat owner.

I grew up with Siamese and once the cat attacked a german shepard which ran like a baby.  Hysterical.  She thought it was going to hurt us and was very protective of us girls.

    cool breed; lol.

  2. that sounds like natural cat hunting behavior, even though siamese are usually very vocal.

  3. because they are very intelligent, siamese cats are generally very curious which makes them get into absolutley anything. It is very normal for her to want to interact with you, as i have heard people say, a siamese cat is much more like a dog in companionship.

  4. LOL I would say you have the typical Siamese Kitty, I have 4 siamese and 3 orientals which are a cousin to the siamese, and they do the exact same thing, but mine are so so so vocal, they talk ALL the time,

    P.S, #8 is a scottish fold

  5. she's Siamese and DOESNT talk much? wow.  Siamese cats are notorious for their vocals...  but on the the question.  yes this is quite normal kitty behavior.  if she's very young id be worried if she wasnt a spazz.  different cat's have different personalities and yours is just a playful kitty.

  6. I have a little black short-haired mixed breed. She talks all the time! She has been fetching since she was a baby, her favorite toy, Mousy. But I wake up in the morning with hair ties, milk rings, pens and pencils, straws and lord knows what else in my bed.. She'll bring stuff to me and "bark" to have it thrown. I don't even want to talk about what she does with the toilet paper. I grew up with two very lovable Siamese, neither exhibited these behaviors. I think we have active busy happy cats. The one time she caught an actual mouse it was hysterical, a whole lot of fierce growling going on!. Moth
