  1. yes very I have a siberian cat and he will go up to ANYTHING including cat haters he will love anything so yes they are

  2. If you mean people, the answer is NO. They are afraid of people and tend to avoid any contact. If they happen to see a human, they flee. If they have to fight, a human has to think twice whether he wants such a fight. The fury of these cats is really amazing.

    Edit:

A guy who gave me a thumb down is not really bright, I guess, and never met a wild Siberian forest cat.

I'm beginning to think we are talking about different cats here. There is a wild Siberian cat and a Siberian breed of house cat. I don't know which was meant by the author of the question but all of you, guys, talk about house cats. Your view is narrow.

  3. There seems to be some confusion about your question.  I am responding to the House cat.

Siberian kittens are extremely intelligent, playful and affectionate. They are easily trained, travel well, and have dog-like loyalty.

Most will greet you at the front door, follow you around and if they're not in the same room, they come when they are called.

Most Siberians are happy to greet visitors and display the same general characteristics as they do towards their family.

  4. I think it really depends on the cat. My cats each have a different way of acting towards new people. One of them hides until the guest is gone, and another will be all over a new person. If you frequently have new people coming in and out of your home, then your cat will be more likely to be comfortable with new people, and vice versa.

  5. Siberian Forest Cats are more dog like in personality than most other cats and tend to be more people oriented in general.   So in general they are friendly to strangers but as with anything it can vary from cat to cat
