Are Six Flags rides scary and dangerous?

i am going to Six Flags on Saturday and all my friends are going to ride Goliath, superman,batman, ninja, the cyclone, two face,and some water rides at Six Flags Over Georgia. So should i ride with them and have fun or just not ride anything.

If you like amusement parks and like roller coasters and aren't scared of heights, go for it!  

On rides being "scary" - that's different for each person.  I find thrill rides very scary (I'm not good with heights) but some of my friends love them and go to Cedar Point in Ohio like religiously throughout the summer.

And all amusement park rides are risky.  Just remember that accidents can happen anywhere at any time.  Sure, there's been a lot of news coverage about Six Flags and other parks and dangers of being injured, but that could happen anywhere.  Statistically, getting injured or dying on a thrill park ride is really low compared to car accidents or something like that.

dangerous...i can't really answer, you've heard about the disaster stories; it's a risk you have to take.

in my opinion, the roller coasters are a lot of fun, and are not scary at all.

however, i hate those spinny twister rides. they make me sick to my stomach!

I love six flags! But I was shocked when the girl at my six flags got her feet chopped off by the Superman. They had to close it down. I would say you should go and have a good time, I had a big fear of roller-coasters when I was little but I've got over them when I just decided to give them a shot, now they're my favorite!

Scary? Maybe. Dangerous? Maybe. The only danger there is, is that you get on a rollercoaster and you have health problems that will only worsen them, but if not, there completely fine.

They are very safe. The incidents that happen are very rare. I assure you that you will be safe.
