Are SpaceBags really as good as they seem?

for those who have used it, what are the disadvantages? is it really like it seems from the infomercial?

Out of six, four worked for a few weeks, then failed.  Two never worked at all, wouldn't hold  a seal.  Hope others have had better luck.
