Are Speedos a Feminist Conspiracy?

So lets see...women wear bathing suits with small bottoms, akin to underwear.  But men have to wear big baggy shorts?  Doesn't make alot of sense to me.  

If you live in a place where you basically live in your suit, and you are in and out of the water...speedos are the only way to go.  Comfortable and not constricting when swimming.  How do you go diving in big, baggy shorts?

As for how they look....if we determined appropriateness on whether something was flattering or not - we wouldn't see HALF the fashions we do now.

Once again, small minded, prudish North Americans raise their little heads and determine how people should look.  Sigh...

Surf shorts or naked-I hate swim suits of any kind. They're not good for women's health if you spend a lot of time in the water-if you know what I mean...things tend to get yeasty when your body parts can't "breath". I imagine men would have the same problems with speedos-so I believe speedos are a bad fashion statement-just like bikinis are.

I'm a feminist and I prefer my men not to wear anything at all when we swim together.  Bathing suits are some of the most outrageously stupid cultural nonsense we've ever come up with.

I'd love to be conspired against in such a fashion!  However, since spandex is a privilege, not a right, can I claim to be discriminated against on the basis of a non-discriminatory palate?  Not that I'm of the overly-corpulent variety, but you know how in cereal boxes it says that "Contents may settle during shipping"?  Well, my contents have settled.  Oh well.

Loosely translated, the only person who thinks I look good in a Speedo is my wife.
