Are Sponge Applicators good to use?

I'm thinking of buying some just to throw in my makeup bag.

No.

1. If you use them with Liquids they will soak up 66% of that product.Its such a waste of money.

2.They breed bacteria.

3.Eyeshadow sponge applicators lay it on too thick and they are useless for good blending--very important for trendy makeup these days.

Yeah, I think so. Especially for foundation. It's best if you put a little bit of warm water on the sponge and then put some foundation on the sponge. It goes on so smooth and looks great! I also use them for eye shadow for my base color. I love them, they are so helpful!

No they collect sweat, dirt and dead skin. If you do use them only once each considering they can block your pores with the dirt, sweat and dead skin making spots.

i don't like sponges. if you don't dampen them first, they soak up most of your makeup. also, they give a very SHEER coverage and i like my foundation heavier than that, so sponges are not for me. on the plus side, they are very cheap so if you do try them and happen not to like them, its not a huge loss :-)

Sponge applicators are wonderful!!! I'm a makeup artist and they're defiantly a must have. Using your fingers in foundation or stuff causes bacteria and it also contaminates your clean makeup. BUT never use sponge applicators more than once or twice. Using them twice is even pushing it. It does collect dead skin cells, sweat, dirt and oil on the sponge so I suggest getting a pack and throwing them out as soon as you're done! hope it helped!

well it'll soak up quite a bit of the foundation so unless ur happy about replacing it often id go with fingers
