  1. If it has Nylon strings it's not an acoustic guitar... it's a CLASSICAL guitar... Acoustic guitars have steel strings.  Classical guitars and Acoustic guitars are designed differently and even look different... you can't just stick nylon strings on an acoustic guitar or steel strings on a Classical guitar and expect it to sound decent.

You CAN mount a condenser mic INSIDE the Classical guitar, however, and that sounds really nice.

  2. steel. of course

  3. steel man, easily

  4. Oh come on Saved...you are just teasing me !!

If you would put nylon string on your acoustic electirc, it wouldn't play. Try it !!!!

Acoustic electrics need steel string so the pickup can pick up the sound produced via its magnetic field.

Nylon string are nly good for classical guitars because the guitar itself, is made of light wood and picks up the resonance of those type of strings.

That is why the pickups are put at the bridge or on the body itself.

  5. yeah, nylon's more for classical & flamenco guitars
