Are Stoke City, West Brom, and Hull City brand new clubs in the EPL this season??

I just saw that these teams were added to the epl team board on yahoo sports-soccer.

I got a little curious...

No,they are just being promoted.

they're expansion teams, founded just this year.

They did the expansion draft last week, Stoke got C. Ronaldo, West Brom got Adebayor and Hull got Drogba.

In other news chelsea are planning a shock move to Los Angeles, backed by their new chairman Al Davis, where they will be coached by John Madden and will be called the Los Angeles Soccer Raiders.

I don't understand what you mean by brand new clubs. All three have a rich and varied history who have been promoted to the greatest league in the world through hard work and their previous season's achievement.

yes, they are in this season EPL. Hull City, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion were promoted last season from the Coca Cola league. check this site: http://fantasy.premierleague.com

"I ROCK" may have been a bit harsh with the way he said it but he's right, these 3 teams were promoted to the Premiership from the Championship they replaced Derby County, Reading and Birmingham City who were relegated from the Premiership and will now play in the Championship

In England, they have 4 leagues. At the end of each season, the bottom 3 from each league go down to a lower league, and the top 3 come up. The teams you mentioned were in the second division last year, and got promoted to the EPL this year. They replaced Reading, Birmingham City, and Derby County.

They are not "brand new." They always existed, but now they're playing in a higher league.

Stoke City & Hull City are the only clubs who will make their debut season in the English Premier League. West Bromwich Albion have played before but their season could only last two seasons the last time they played in the English Premier League.
