  1. I think so, after all Collingwood got over the Cats earlier in the year, and did so hugely.  Fremantle got within a kick earlier in the year, and the Hawks could well have gone on with it after taking a Fourth Quarter lead a few weeks back.

I am a Cats supporter and I think we'll win by eight goals, but Swannies are a definite chance.  Mind you, they nearly lost to the Men in Mauve last weekend so they'd want to step up.

  2. Soory Kev, I think Geelong will still be to good for the Swans

  3. cheer cheer the red and the white

    .....  ... .. ..

whether the odds be great or be small

swans will go in and win overall.

    hope so anyway.

    hopefully it'll be close.

  4. nah not a chance

but heres a song that will cheer you up

    Carlton Football Club Theme Song

    We are the Navy Blues,

We are the old dark Navy Blues,

We’re the team that never lets you down,

We’re the only team old Carlton knows,

With all the champions they like to send us,

    We’ll keep our end up.

And they will know that they’ve been playing

Against the famous old dark Blues

    lol

  5. I think so hun but people like Ablett are in the way so Sydney needs to devise a plan to make it so so.

    xoxo

  6. Very low.

    Sorry.

My second team is the cats.

  7. No. Not enough flair in the Swan side

to be able to stick with the Cats for

    100 minutes.

  8. They sure have a mighty chance of beating them !!!

The Swans sure have got my tip!!!

In fact I pick anyone who plays the pies to win !!!!!

  9. No way in h**l! The Cats are on the run home and don't want too drop a game! Too strong and skilled for the swans!

  10. Anything is possible Big K, But it won't happen, I mean we took a shot at trying to beat them. We were going well until the last quarter. Oh well. The Swans are going well and i say they have some potential.

  11. I really don't think that they have a chance. I suppose the Swans have a home advantage, but we saw how the Swana played last time on that horrible surface!

  12. Kev, I may never win a tipping comp but I'm sticking with my guys- the Swannies- it would make my season if we get up!

    carn the Bloods!!!

  13. G'day Kev,

I don't think so mate. i think the only team that might challenge the Cats is Hawthorn.

  14. Every team is a chance each week.

I hope Geelong wins, nothing else to say.

  15. Not a chance in h**l.

None of the non-Victorian clubs will beat a Victorian club for the remainder of the season.

  16. I think Geelong will deliberately lose Sat night so they can play Sydney in the first week of the finals and then smash the sh*t out of them!

  17. hahahahaha you must be jokeing rite?

sydney wouldent be where they are now if it wasnt for the umpires

  18. I hope geelong wins. Kangas have carlton and if we beat the blues we'll be in the top 4. I also hope that the swans inflict a few injuries on the cats cos we got the cats next week.

In answer to your question, swans have no chance.

  19. Yes, if all the Geelong players die on the way to the match. The plane might crash or their bus to the game might catch on fire.

  20. UPSET OF THE ROUND!

  21. you have 2 be kidding right???

    they r no chance

hawks and dogs couldnt even beat their B team...

as if swans could beat most of their best team!

    dream on mate

  22. A very small chance...............

  23. with the umps behind them mate anything is possible

but i think it will be geelong by 92pts

  24. I tippin' The Swans as my upset game of the round.

Geelong is a stronger and faster unit, and should win easily. But I think Sydney will win this one.

  25. I've heard a rumour that the cats are resting a few of their stars because of the olympic stadium surface.

Last game there the swans played pies, both teams lost next 4 games or so.

Why does everyone think swans get good run with umps?

Cats to run over swans in the last qtr.

  26. hope not. it'd help the crows move up on the ladder if the cats win

EDIT: Sorry about my other response, i was in a bad mood last night - im sick

  27. Anythings Possible Mate, I For One Hope The Swans Pan The Cats On Saturday Nite!

  28. Sydneys one saving grace is that Geelong havent beaten them at home since i can remember.  But the way geelong are playing your chances are extremely slim.

Might be good odds to drop a tenner on the swans though.  They have a habit of beating teams they shouldnt beat.  Actually because it's not at the SCG it's even less likely.

  29. Nahh not really - that fremantle game they barely won. And even with the combination of goodes, hall etc. they can not win.

Geelong are a force to be reckoned with and at the moment there is no afl club (besides maybey the hawks) that can overcome the cats.
