Are Syrins real?

I wonder have they really existed? A syrin is a half woman half bird. When it's night, she has the ability to turn into a bird. She has a wonderful singer that usually caputers the attention of sailors. When a syrin is heartbroken, she will unleash a terrible scream and will keep coming out at night until they get revenge. I think they are real or have existed in the past. But I have no evidence to prove that a fact.

  1. No, and they are called Sirens I believe.....

    Those are from Greek Mythology.

  2. I agree with the first answerer.......it is part of greek mythology...and the correct spelling is indeed Siren......in a story called "The Bet," Siren is mentioned and the definition is given.......Sirens are not real and as fascinating as you might find them (so do i), trust me, you would not want it to be in existence because according to greek mythology, it is a very dangerous creature.....however, if you want to read up more on it, read more about greek mythology, it is quite a fascinating topic......p.s. it would be kind of cool if sirens existed but very dangerous......people may claim that sirens exist but that is part of what humans do......the harder we believe in something that never was, the harder we find it real.......sirens do not exist at all except in mythology and in the minds of some people..........
