Are Talk Talk any good for broadband and telephone now?

I can find plenty of negative feedback from a year or two ago but nothing recently.

I just swapped to Talk Talk broadband as it was free.  But I'm finding it a lot slower than my old provider (Tescos)

Two big issues with Talk Talk.

1- You CANNOT transfer from them to another provider in the future, they remove your line from BTs network so youd lose your number and need a new line fitting to move again.

2- After sales service is bad, rarely a week goes by without one of their customers ringing us to sort the broadband out.

ive been with them for phone and broadband for bout 18 months now no problems at all and broadband is free

Been with talktalk for four years now with no probs. Added broadband eight months ago because it was free. Again no probs. I telephone Aussie and South Africa and California regularly and it doesnt cost a bean. All land lines are free but you pay for mobiles. Hope this helps.

I had a lot of problems with Talk Talk . There call centre was no help when I couldn't install the internet. My friend had to install hers 3 times before it would take . And when I returned the modem they said I hadn't and charged me for it £50.

I switched both broadband and telephone to talk talk from BT a couple of days ago. The telephone rates are great but when I set up the broadband it didn't work at all for the first day, it did (very slowly I might add) the next morning then stopped working again for the next two days. After hours of phone calls and getting nowhere, I was not willing to waste even more hours trying to fix it, so I switched promptly back to BT even though it costs £18 more per month for broadband (talktalk broadband is free...but then if you pay little you get little). I'm never going to be with talktalk again even if it is cheap. I warn you- do not get broadband with talktalk, it doesn't even do what its supposed to do. However, I highly recommend talk talk phone service, the rates are cheap, and unlike the broadband, it is reliable. Hope this helps!

I'm with Talk Talk, they're good.  Phone bill is half the price it was with BT and Broadband works just fine (not expensive either!!)

I got 6 months 1/2 price deal on

talk3 package when i contacted them

once my initial 18 month contract was

up.  Make sure you ask, you will

definitely get a deal from talk talk.

I've been with Talk talk for years and have got Broadband too. All my family are on it so it's free to call them anytime. It's cheapest network around at moment.
