Are Texas A&M Football fans nice? ?

I was just wondering because I am a Tech fan and I have decided to go to see the game Oct 18th at Kyle field. I know there is a big rivalry but I have never made a trip to College station for a game. I understand I will probably get harassed but the A&M fans aren't psychotic are they? My friend who went to A&M says that I will probably get beat up, Is he just messing with me?

A&M fans are crazy. If they go up 3 to 0 with 14 minutes left in the 1st quarter they will go insane because they know that's probably the only lead they will ever have.

Your friend is just messing with you. I'm certain that kind of behavior is not tolerated and if it had happened in the past it would have been well reported. I'm sure you will catch some verbal harassment but anytime a person goes to an opponent's stadium that is to be expected. Just have a little thick skin and you'll be okay.

I believe your friend is messing with you.  Aggie fans are among the most hospitable in the NCAA.  I met a few and they were very gracious, very loyal to their team.
