Question:

Are There Any Adults In The Parenting Section??

Or are we all stuck in year 9, having little ***** sessions about everyone else??

Or Does everyone have their periods? I must have missed mine.

Because that is what it feels like. If you don't like someone's opinion, why ask a question about it. Are you really that lonely and sad??

Being a parent is hard work. And for the most of us, we come here for a break from our busy hectic lives. I am sick to death of everyone moaning and crying wolf, it makes you look very SAD!

Now I am on your level, can we all grow up and act like parents, not Year 9's????

  1. Yes it's annoying, I'd avoid the adolescent section and stay in the parenting section. I'm studying to be a teacher and a child development major so I like to hang out in here and I can give good advice when necessary.

  2. I am grown and I totally agree with you. I just reported ed s, and his alter egos "stone ed00" and "ketchup ed" for mutiple posting about his bogus abuse since his mama hurt his feelings (he is a sensitive 16 year old MAN who gets no repect from her). too bad the parenting forums cannot be just that....forums for parents

  3. You are a parent....you should be use to the idea of kids over running our private space.  I just deal with it.

  4. I wish they had guidelines people had to meet to be on this site. I do get annoyed by the drama, but I try to ignore it.

  5. Yes there are parents. but i have to agree that this section has become overrun somewhat with immature people.

  6. I'm a parent to a 4yr old boy and 2yr old girl and I like to think that I am an adult lol I'm almost 29 and married for 8yrs....does that count for anything? Hope you have a better day! I hear ya, I come on here when I need a break and to talk about parenting stuff...my life is my kids and sometimes my husband lol

  7. I come on here to help where I can, because I too have questions, and need advice sometimes too.

But unfortunately I most get trolls, fake pregnant teens and people blocking/reporting me for my opinion!!

Example, a question yesterday was "Tell me what you honestly think of the time ****** (writing the name can get me reported apparently)

I gave my honest opinion, within guidelines, and got reported AND blocked!

    What the h**l!

But God bless those who take this forum seriously. It really is a helpful place, when there aren't idiots on here.

  8. I'm a parent I don't know what question you are talking about because I just got on but I have noticed some very rude people on here lately

  9. The things I hate are the misinformed, judgemental tossers that refuse to look at things from the perspective of others. Just because something works for your family or your child(ren) does not mean it will work for everyone. People have to stop shoving their opinions down parents throats about abortion, bottle feeding vs breastfeeding, SAHM vs working mums.............everyone needs to do the best for their own families, not worry about Joe Bloggs on the internet that is judging every step you take with your kids, because you don't go by the guidelines.

  10. (applauds)

    Well said, Charli.  :)

  11. I agree completely.

I answered a question about raising vegetarian kids and got back some comment about my over populating the world!

My son is just finishing Year 9 this year and to be honest, sometimes he and his friends seem MORE mature than alot of the people here!
