  1. Go to the United Nations websites.

  2. try this

  3. Try the United nations they seem quite good at it. I was talking to a 15 year old girl on MSN messenger - she was listening to heavy rock to drown out the sounds of the Israeli missiles killing little children near her home. She was in Lebanon at the time. I told her Britain was supporting the UN in a peace deal and the bombing and missiles stopped. She thanked me for the news that we were trying to help. For once I was quite proud of this country. Incidentally, I emailed the UN and got an email back thanking me for my support. I give them free adverts on my website - every little helps.

  4. Judging by the previous answers, you're not american. If you were, you could check the secretary of state. You'd best be looking in whatever part of your country's government handles international diplomacy. Oh yeah, and Join Model UN if you're in High School or College. Also check the UN.

  5. There is a full range of websites that give guidance to those looking for careers in world politics.

The primary guidance based sites are www.prospects.ac.uk, www.realworldmagazine.co.uk (or .com) really useful for detailed info on careers in WP.

Alternatlively go straight to the websites of the entities that operate in the global arena www.un.org, www.NATO.int, and Europa.eu.  NGOs are always looking for IR students etc such as The Red Cross, Amnesty International and so on.

    Hope this helps.

  6. You could try the Foreign & Commonwealth office website and look under careers, or maybe the European Union Careers site.

But you'd need a good degree that includes International  Relations, or say European Studies plus languages.

I'd suggest you look into a Humanities degree as well (covering European Studies, International relations, History, Art Histiory, Modern Languages, Politics etc). Then if it doesn't work out at least you can do other things in other fields!
