Are There Bugs in Chocolate?

I've been talking to my friend and she told me that chocolate as bugs in it.. so is there?

yep, there's dirt in everything we eat.

but thankfully for the age of processing our amounts are considerably lower than organic levels.

sorry to gross you out, but there was a news program awhile back that talked about this and every company is allowed a certain amount of this very thing by the FDA. What they said was because these are huge factories and it would be almost impossible to keep bugs out completely. They have to be tested and are only allowed so many particles or something. I am just telling you what I saw on there and I was completely grossed out and didn't want to touch chocolate for a long time. Sorry again.

I would hope not.  If there are traces of, then they sure taste good.
