Are There any paypal scams?

I put my PSP up on craigslist.com and somebody said that they are from california and that the psp would be sent to nigeria for her fiance and she wanted my paypal email this sounds fishy and the email was written in poor grammar like they were foreign. does this sound like a scam?

also I was selling for 140$ and she said 250$ and

I ship it to nigeria would shipping from michigan to nigeria be less than 110$

No, Paypal is entirely safe to use, but people can scam you to get to your Paypal account.
