  1. The Republicans -always- find some way to denigrate the patriotism of anyone who runs against them.

The picture of Obama without his hand over his heart was taken during a playing of the National Anthem, but you don't put your hand over your heart for that, only for the pledge of allegiance.  The Republicans who circulated the picture first said it was during the pledge of allegiance, which was a deliberate lie.

As for the American Flag lapel pin--do you really think that someone who doesn't wear American flag jewelry hates his country?  That's just dumb.

Republicans have said that Michelle Obama made a speech in which she used the term 'Whitey'.  But they're unable to say where or when she made this speech.  They've promised to come up with a videotape of the speech but so far they haven't.

Now they're saying that Obama's birth certificate was faked and he was not really born in the US.  And again, as always, when challenged to come up with proof they ignore it but they keep making the claim.

Obama loves the US as much as John McCain.  It's not about who loves America more, it's about who is most likely to lead us out of this mess we're in.  I am not defending Obama, and I am not touting him as the man to do the job. I'm just saying that the Republicans do this all the time and you should ignore it.

In primary campaigns, Republicans do this to EACH OTHER!  In the 2000 election, the Republican party leadership wanted George Bush, not McCain.  When McCain won the New Hampshire primary, the Republicans did a really nasty smear campaign against him in South Carolina, the next big primary state. They spread stories that McCain was mentally unstable because of his being tortured in prison.  They said he'd had a mixed-race illegitimate daughter with a prostitute and showed a picture of him watching a baseball game with his wife and daughter.  The girl was actually a daughter he had adopted from Bangladesh.  But, as I say, this is just what Republicans do, it's how they work.  I think it's disgusting.

  2. Like you said, just rumors.

  3. OH PLEASE! - It's all campaign Rhetoric. "Will NOT WEAR an American Flag pin"? - You're not serious?!

This is the kind of c**p Americans are sick of!

It's the Republican propaganda machine at work. They killed John Kerry's chances with the lies about his war experiences and are trying anything they can on Obama.

  4. All are true.

  5. Well... he's running to be the President of the United States. Think about what you're asking, do they really make sense? Why would he be running to be the president if he or his wife were anti-American? That's like becoming a priest when you're an Atheist. Where are people getting these rumors and seeing these videos?

  6. all three are true, and many other things have come out about him too

  7. he denied them, but they are all on video.
