Are Tornado's only a northern hemisphere phenomenon?

Do they have Tornado's in the southern hemisphere too, and would they go in a clockwise direction as Tornado's in the northern hemisphere go in the counter-clockwise direction....

We have tornados and water spouts down here in Australia,  they go in a counter clockwise direction.  We dont see too many tornadoes as we all mainly live near the coast.  ie we dont have too many inland cities out where the tornadoes occur like the USA does.

Tornadoes occur not only in the Northern Hemisphere, but the Southern Hemisphere as well. As for rotation, what you said is true.

Yes they do and generally (most of the time) they spin opposite the way they do in the northern hemisphere but not always.
