trac phone is the most expensive pre paid plan. if you have good credit, go with a regular plan. but if you are going to stay with prepaid, use a different one.

If you want it to be cheaper, it depends how much you use it.

If you use your phone a lot, tracfones are expensive.  If you don't use it a lot, reg. cells are better.

If you don't want tracfone or regular, most carriers have different prepaid phones (alltel u, tmobile to go, at&t go phone, verizon impulse, etc)

and usually you can get a cool phone with them, whereas tracfone has **** phones
