  1. Yes and yes.  Death, death, and more death.  We're "liberating" Iraq.

  2. Yes, many die and are still dying for what I think are the wrong reasons.

  3. everyday

  4. They are dying at this very moment, they have no idea what they're fighting for.

  5. Of-course. Its a war zone... Helloooo

  6. YES!  Still there!  YES! Still getting killed and injured!  But from what I have heard, the situation IS improving!

Fewer US soldiers getting injured and/or killed!

And, IRAQ wants us to get out!  That's OK with ME, if THEY are READY to take over...  and if we don't have to go BACK!

  7. I wish.

The reason you haven't heard about the war lately is the public's short

attention span and the media's focus on Obama and McCain. If the

troops actually started to pull out it would be front-page news all over

the world. Hopefully it will happen after the election.

  8. No news is bad news for the democrats. Like what has been said the surge is working and the terrorists have resorted to using women as suicide bombers.

  9. Just FYI, there are more people killed in America each year from drunk drivers than have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined since the start of both wars.

The reason you aren't hearing about the war in Iraq is because there are more "important" things, like making fun of Obama or McCain, for the media to focus on. That's how the media works: it's just reality TV and broadcasts what it feels will get the most viewers. It's sad, but it's true.

Death is still happening in Iraq, but do keep in mind that the terrorists also target the Iraqi people, not just the service members.

  10. Yes, we're still in Iraq.  Not that you'd know with all the Olympic coverage and all...
