Are USB key drives the same as USB Flash drives? 10 points.?

One of the things I need for school include a USB Key Drive. But I'm not sure where to get one.

Would a USB Flash drive work too?

  5. the word 'key ' refers to the entire USB unit, the word 'flash' refers to the memory. it really doesnt have anything to do with people carrying them on their key rings.
