Are VANS comfortable? (Shoes)?

Question

I don't know what shoes to buy for school, I love colors, but you know I like to match too, but then again I could care less. Recommend any comfortable shoes. Preferably sneakers.

BUT IM THINKING OF GETTING THESE.

THEY'RE SIMPLE AND LOOK NICE IN MY OPINION.

ARE THEY COMFORTABLE?

Vans are extremely comfortable!!! I've been wearing them for a years & they are the most comfortable in my opinion. My daughter & husband also wear nothing but Vans slip-ons & they love them as well. And another great thing about them is the more they get broken in, the more comfortable they are.

The black slip-ons that you have chosen are great! They will go with everything. You can never go wrong with classic black. You should also check out the Vans website. You can order custom Vans that you create yourself from several choices of patterns & colors.

Maybe get plain white too, to match with other colors.

They are very comfortable, but they stretch the more you wear them, and mine are falling apart after I bought them in december. Not very sturdy, but comfortable and nice.

I love those.  Wear them with a pair of skinny jeans (not black ones) and they will look great.

YES! Vans are really comfortable. I wear a lot of different shoes and they are by far the most comfortable. Unlike other shoes, they adjust to your foot. So if you wear them for awhile, they will mold to your foot; both the bottom of your shoe and the top. That is one of the main reasons they are so comfortable. Most people can fit into them because of that, even people who have wider feet.

The only problem with wearing them is that they have no arch support. That is why if you have a foot problem, they suggest that you do not wear vans. They are so flat on the bottom. These are definently not good shoes to run in because of the above reasons. If you run with them on, like most slip-on shoes, you can devolope a foot problem.

I suggest if you are worried about them being uncomfortable, go down to the Vans store or any store that sells Vans and try a pair on.

YES i have a pair of vans have had them for about 2 years now staring to were out so i only were them for walking the dog and when i go to work now , they are one of the best pairs of shoes i have owned but depending on what style you get sometimes you have to get a bigger or a samller size ( i have ones in size 4 5 and 6 because there all diffrent styles slip ons ankle and just lace ones ) but ye i would suggest getting them for school i had a pair last year and i wore them so mutch i have just had to put them in the bin they had hole in the sole were the meterial meets the rubber but thats probs because i scuff my toes a lot sorry it so long lol gd luck with chosing shoes xx

OMG they are so comfortable, i got the vans and i got the van lo ones and i dont wnat to take them off. justget colors that match your wadrobe dont get like a cray print, cause then it looks werid with my school uniform. lol

They are comfortable, but some of them (if not all) have no arch support, so if you are going to be on your feet for hours at a time, you may want a different pair of shoes because your feet will start to hurt.  

But for school they are good, I have been wearing them for years.

I think matching is lame in my opinion. I hate when people are too matchy. I don't like the simple black. You should get some color! Add it to your wardrobe, really any colorful vans match with shirts. A cute tee and jeans would go good with cute and colorful vans!
