Are Wah Wah the same sound like Whammy Bars ?

I don't know what to get a pick up with a whammy or a cry baby wah wah ?

Wah Wah is an effect.  Whammy Bar is a thing attached to your guitar which you push up and down to change tone.  In order to use Wah Wah you need an effects peddle.  I suggest Wah Wah because it is much easier to use.

A whammy Bar raises and lowers the note of a guitar. A wah-wah just changes the tone from bass to hi-treble.

It's like holding a note and another person turns your tone up and down quickly. The cry (sustain) will not alter the pitch like a whammy bar does.

Two different effect. Two distinct sounds.
