  1. Judging by what I've seen in the last couple of weeks, I tip the Irish to do well in your 6 nations.

  2. Wouldn't say we won it with ease - had a few tricky moments along the way. but if you look at the world cup and then the 6 nations then you can see a definite improvement and if we keep improving at that rate then I don't see why we can't win next year. Even looking at the 2 tests against South Africa the improvement between the 1st & 2nd was amazing so we should learn a lot from that. And keep going from strengh to strengh

  3. wales could continue to improve, but if france improves a whole lot, that changes the picture

the french are very mercurial. they can beat any team on any given day, so if they manage to gather momentum and add consistency to their game, watch out.

  4. No, last season France were experimenting the whole time so when it came to play you, their team had very little time together.

Less said about us Irish the better. Scotland and Italy were Scotland and Italy, and if England hadn't screwed up majorly then there would have been no grand slam for Wales.

This year with new coaches I think Ireland and England will both improve a lot and France will probably start settling on a more regular team. So while Wales could still win the Six Nations, I don't think that anybody will be picking up a grand slam this year.
