Are Walmart subwoofers?

Ok I just baught a a subwoofer bass package mand my amp is a 600 watt amp and it can go down to 2 OHMS and right now with the subs it is at 4 OHMS and i was thinkin about bridging my subs but i want to add another subwoofer And right now i dont have to much money. So i was wounderin r wal-mart subs any good? like i kno there kinda cheap but they sound ok when u play them at the store. But truly do they performe well for its price?

well sir u will have a thousand people on here tellin u to buy the highest price sub u can find me i like sony xplod i have had a set for 4 years im not lookin to impress but they do sound good to me and im pushing a thousand watts thru each it totally up to u if u dont have the cash save up buy the higher quality sub but if u wanna just listen to music and enjoy for now that maybe a good solution 4 now u do what best 4 u look at it this way u like how they sound then that what U need to buy ROCK ON my friend

if the subs are mtx there ok if you wire all 3 up paralel and have a 4 ohm bridgeable amp you'll be surprized at the sound you can get out of them

a friend of mine bought two 12s from walmart and they hit hard they are decent subs

You're probably better off searching the internet and getting a better quality woofer at a lower cost than walmart. I got 2 Rockford P2's for 155 online, they sell for like 180 a piece in store. Look around, you'll be happier.

i wouldn't get anything from wal mart because they charge you way too much plus their stuff really isn't that great you can find way better stuff off the internet

Yea they work okay. I've had mine for a few years and it's still perfectly fine.

Grimreaper, let us know when you have actually heard good subs. These walmart subs you speak of are Sony subs, they are straight garbage. I am not going to lie to you at all. They sound like c**p, once you have heard good subs you will not like those sony subs at all. Grimreaper is a moron, he just doesn't know where to look for low cost good subs. But I do, and I spread the name so that everyone here can know of the place, ELEMENTAL DESIGNS AUDIO. Low cost, great product, 5 year warranty (let me see sony do that), and great customer service.

My tip of advice is to buy JL Audio , Infinity Systems , MTX , Alpine Audio , Kicker Audio , Polk Audio , Clarion or Sony Xplod only....

well you usually get what you pay for if you want good bass you need to pay a lil more. the fosgate punch woofer are perty good and they start at like 60 bucks.
