If you're talking about ausb wireless adapter, you buy the device - it's a one-time payment.  You;'ll need an internet connection, though - that's a monthly payment.  Contact your phone company and your cable TV company and see what each one offers.  (You'll want a wireless router with the service - they'll both offer one, and it should be at no extra cost.)

    BTW, the router should connect via ethernet, not usb.  If that's what you want - to connect to the internet with wire, you just need to order standard internet service - all internet service comes with at least one ethernet (to the computer) connection.


  2. You can buy wireless routers at best buy they run about 40-140 bucks depending on how fancy you wanna get, They router its' self does not cost  anything monthly. You just by the hardware and use your existing internet connection and modem.
