Are XBOX 360 premium cables compatible with the Elite System?

I bought an elite console and was just wondering if I had to buy specially made cables, or if I could just use the cables from the normal xbox 360.

They should be the about the same the only difference should be some hardware modifications, the cables should be compatible. Like the same cpu platforms using the same accessories.

the cables are the same, but the Elite comes with an HDMI cable, which can be bought for like $10 on any website, like buy.com or newegg.com.  You only need that cable if you want the very best picture quality.  But the normal cables work fine for most TVs.
