Are Yahoo Groups legal for anyone over 18?

Is all content that appears on Yahoo Groups legal?

I personally think & seen, Even teens Get away with  Creating there groups, & maybe lie about there age, But thats how it is.

Yahoo wont/ cant/ do nothing if there profille says 18 & there really 14,  Maybe there parents dont care, & they do however, Have teen groups to, But  No one knows whos behind thouse E mails, & thats why we all have to be carefull, The internet is Only safe if you go to safe places & very carefull,

It is legal for anyone 18 or over to join any Yahoo Group, regardless of the category they are in.  There are groups in the adult category that tread a fine line of legality.  There are groups in any category that might contain illegal content so it cannot be said that all content that appears on YG's is legal.  If someone posts something on a Y! Group that is really illegal, it might not be caught by Yahoo until someone else reports it.  

So, my answer is no, not ALL content that appears on Yahoo Groups is legal.
