I'm about to go snowboarding for the first time and I want to buy some goggles, but I'm trying to decide on what color lenses are good for night. I want a color that's good for the day as well, but will be mostly going at night due to my schedule. I'm looking at bolle citrus or lemon. Any recommendations?

  1. You can usually buy an extra lens, get a clear one for nights and just swap out your daytime lens or the nighttime ones.

  2. either, it doesnt really matter, i ride at night with dark colored googles and it feels no different to me

  3. Over time, your eyes will naturally adjust. For day riding, chrome or mirrored lenses work the best for me. At night, unless its necessary, don't even wear goggles. If you must, go orange.

  4. I personally like yellows.  They tend to brighten everything up and make features more visible.  Oranges tend to be a little darker and more of an all around lens.

  5. I've always had good luck with yellow lenses, although I don't think you can really go wrong with either...

  6. There are a few brands out there that make ROSE colored lenses.  I have a pair of Dragons with rose lenses, and they are seriously the bomb.  Day and night, these things outperform any other lens I've used.  And I've used them all pretty much.

I seriously suggest you give rose lenses a try:-)
