I am not deaf, but I have a hard of hearing brother. I also worked as a counselor at a school for the deaf in California for about 7 years - I am fluent in ASL as well as British & French sign languages. What is your question?

I'm not, but my elderly mother is about 80% of the way there (to deafness, that is).     I''d be glad to help you if this sort of experience lends itself in some way to being of use.
