Are Zodiacs signs BS?

I am a tauraus, and I am one of the most passive, least stubborn people I know, but everyone's like "oh, you're a stubborn taurus!"

Is there anything behind Zodiacs or are they just a bunch of made up BS?

And why do people take them so seriously?

Astrology works, but the stuff in newspapers and magazines are c**p.

If you have a full chart reading by a competent professional astrologer, using your personal birth chart, based on your birth date, birth time and birth place, it is quite a different experience. You will find it is customized specifically to you and your strengths and weaknesses.

In your case, there could be many things altering the expression of your Taurus Sun.

lot of it maybe ridiculous – by-the-way, there’s the usual horoscopes, then there’s also Chinese astrology, it’s based on Years, compared to months  (“Year of the Cat” for example) --

but 1 thing uncanny, & maybe I believe in: compatibility, & psychological similarity – that is, for example, supposedly Pisces & Scorpios get along (both Water Signs, for one thing) etc etc.; & people of the same sign have similar characteristics – all Scorpios are similar in certain ways. or so the theory goes;

    as for “horoscopes” per se / trying to predict future in any way -- probably Bunk.

No. Sun sign astrology is not as accurate. Try getting your moon sign and follow those. They are WAYYY more accurate. It is also called vedic astrology. You may not necessariy be, and not all personality profiles will say that either.It is just a misconception

The 'Zodiac' is not BS.  A lot of daily horoscopes are dumb, but in general if you read some knowledgeable astrology guides or real books you'd be amazed , when people read  their first 'real' astrology handbook a lot of times they are blown away & totally overwhelmelmed that someone could know so much accurate info.   Try Love on A rotten day by- Hazel Dixon Cooper.

No,it's a very smart system of stars.There isn't only sun sign,but a moon sign,Pluto sign,Jupiter sign for 12 planets.

There are degrees,houses,ascendant,midheaven,a bunch of things.You can be sun in Taurus,but moon in Gemini and Cancer rising,this will make you least stubborn.

sun-sign horoscopes are BS, but if you check out http://www.astro.com and know your birthtime, and get your full chart, it's a lot better.  You might have other signs or other placements that counteract your Taurus sun.
