Are acoustic guitars allowed on Southwest Airlines?

We're flying to Colorado tomorrow....and I want to know if you can bring an acoustic guitar on board...?

sure, but u may need to pay, just in case u should call up ur airline that ur flying and check.

Sure as long as you can place it under the seat or in the overhead....

It depends on the size..

From the SW website:

Southwest Airlines limits carryon bag dimensions to 10x16x24 inches

If your guitar will fit in those sizes (not likely I think) then you can carry it on.  If not, it will have to be checked...

Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage
