Are acoustic guitars the same size?

I want to buy my boyfriend a case for his acoustic guitar and I'm not sure what brand it is. Does brand matter? Can I just buy a case made for an acoustic and that'll be the right size? Thanks in advance!!

there are 3 main sizes dreadnought parlor and jumbo

Dread has the more square shape

Jumbo is rounder and bigger and parlour is like a jumbo but sized down just tell the sales person what you need
