i made the experience that its better to book in advance rather than last minute. When i booked my flight in March it was around 300 dollars cheaper than the June prices.

They generally are - unless you find a really good deal last minute.. going transatlantic gets more expensive the closer summer time gets, so if you see a good deal right now, go ahead! You´ll have your ticket and don´t have to worry about it anymore and the prices won´t drop much even on a last minute deal.
