Are advertisements good or bad from the end user / consumers' point of view?

Ad is necessary for both producers and consumers.It gives an awareness about the products among the consumers but they should have knowledge to identify the best.

Sales adds inform the public about many issues they do not want to ask about. Health issues, medicine, money, trends in society etc. This allows the public to be aware that they may not be the only one who needs help / or information on a subject.

The down side is the sales hype and false information given in many adds. ie: this stuff will cure anything type adds. Many adds are simply lies, and need to be pulled off the broadcast ssytem they are using. Problem is the gulible people do not know when it is a lie.
