If so, would this encourage people, especially children, to order a beer or wine instead of a cola or a lemonade?

  1. Alcohol costs more than soft drinks lol

  2. At most restaurants, alcohol is more expensive.  Luxury drinks such as appletizer may be more expensive, but not as a standard.

If kids could order it, they would - but not because of the price.

  3. Alcohol is definitely more expensive than soft drinks. I guess in this instance the price may discourage people to order but damm not me, I love my whiskey and odd beer. I found that beer in Europe are generally cheaper than water cakes and am not sure if that is still the case. Let us know. In that case, why drink water then.

  4. Alcohol is more expensive than soft drinks. That doesn't stop children from trying to order it. Most restaurants do actually ask for ID's first if someone looks underage though.

  5. At the Havard Cafe at Rand airport you pay the same for a beer or a Coke. I sometimes have a beer instead of coke after a flight even if im not in a drinking mood.
