Are alien golf clubs good?

i was thinking of buying a full set of alien golf clubs+bag+putter i love the feel of them and the way they shooy but i was also looking at a calaway set the alien cli=ubs are $500 and the calaways are $1500+ The calaways are o.k but im wondering how well alien clubs preforme are they worth the extra $1000? if so, why!
