Why not? We have a pretty much infintely vast existence in which aliens could live. Why not?

Oh and one day we will probably show up at some planet and abduct someone, and all the people below will go, "No that's crazy, aliens don't exist." And we'll just laugh our heads off and go abduct something else.

I think if you look at the number of alien reports over the centuries, you will see they don't coincide just with the time frame of "crazy hippies"

I'm of the opinion that if we're alone in the universe, it's an awful waste of space. There are too many planets, stars, and other galaxies out there to assume that we're the only planet with intelligent life on it. Given distances between stars and current technology levels, we may never know if there's life on other planets unless they come to us.

Answer: This is the toughest of the questions. If we take Earth as an example, the expected lifetime of our Sun and the Earth is roughly 10 billion years. So far we've been communicating with radio waves for less than 100 years. How long will our civilization survive? Will we destroy ourselves in a few years like some predict or will we overcome our problems and survive for millennia? If we were destroyed tomorrow the answer to this question would be 1/100,000,000th. If we survive for 10,000 years the answer will be 1/1,000,000th.

When all of these variables are multiplied together when come up with:

N, the number of communicating civilizations in the galaxy.

We live in the Milky way Galaxy...in a remote corner according to  Astronomers...the Nearest Star system is alpha centaur  4.3 light years away.  That's a long way from Earth...with the current space exploration Technology Man Uses at present...it would take thousands of years,, if not longer to get there  if you were to try to take a rocket.  However...there are Theories and envisioned technologies  such as warp drives,,,antimatter propulsion drives...and many others...that could make such a journey possible in a lifetime...if the technologies are developed.  The  idea is that if we can envision ...such possibilities...how much more could an advanced civilization  of Non Terrestrial Origin...come up with?...besides  it is not the distance that is the big problem with Mans Exploration of Other Worlds...its mans short life span.   One Idea that has been and is being researched ..is the idea of Melding Man..with  Machine...creating  Android humans...for such journeys.   I would have to say...that " yes"  i do believe there are other Intelligent perhaps more intelligent beings in a Galaxy of 30 billion  plus Stars alone...than  this single solitary Planet we Call Earth.

They are real, and they used to grab me before a Christian lady taught me how to pray against it.

I was more politically to the left when it all started, and they considered me more trustworthy for that reason.  Now that I have come back to Christianity (Protestant, not Catholic this time) I cannot tell you that they were a figment of my "hippie" imagination.  What I can tell you is that they are evil and here to mislead humanity.  

It is often assumed that if they wished us ill, that they would have already destroyed us.  But the problem with that is that they are not the highest authority in the universe; they cannot do to us whatever they wish.  If you read the abduction accounts, you will find a pattern of complicity on the part of the abductee in many of them.

The embarrassing aspects in many abductions are a conventional secrecy mechanism that the aliens themselves use to minimize the desire of abductees to report what has happened to them, and to report it accurately.

Whitley Strieber described in his book Transformation how the aliens seemed to be putting him through a process of "facing his past wrongs."  But in my experience, the aliens behaved more like counterfeit angels whose accounting of past wrongs like a demonstration of why they felt they owned my ***.

The God of Judeo-Christianity, Lord God Jehova Almighty is the only one you ever need to reach out to.  Plead the Blood against those counterfeit angels if you see them, and only with your eyes will you need to behold the reward of the wicked.

from a religious point of view.  the universe has put God on trial.  Is God right or wrong?  I have been to three revelation seminars.  The Bible states, not in too many words, that we are watched very closely.  every thing we do.  How God acts and re-acts.

as for my self, i can not say i have seen any U.F.O or any aliens of outer space.  Personally, i thing the governments are playing with people.  i do believe life is out there, but i don´t believe we can catch it.

I think that God put beings on other planets.  Why couldn't he have done it?  Saying that earth is the only planet with life is the same as looking into a corn field and saying that only 1 ear of corn will grow.
