Are all Italians obsessed with s*x?

When i went to Italy, guys would always whistle at me even though I was underage and I would constantly get hit on. And there was this Italian guy who only used me for s*x and didnt want to date me. I have never met an Italian who was different, so are they all like that?

Oh give me a break!! Italian men (and I cant believe I'm actually defending them) are nice in their own ways, like any other man. They are creative (??), emotional (??) and quite good looking (!!)...

Point is that there are dogs in EVERY country but also there are princes as well. If you are on vacation somewhere and a guy comes up to you wanting s*x and nothing else and you give it, than it's you (the tourist) making them look bad, not the guys themselves. Learn how to say NO and raise your standards :-p

Ofcourse not ALL men are obsessed with s*x, and remember it's not the Italians that started say Men are Dogs, and that's because there are rotten apples in every orchard.

What are you doing having s*x with some strange guy at age 15??? You need to address that problem before you tackle the character of Italian men. Sorry, but a man is a man is a man, no matter what country he's from. If you are putting off the vibe that you are available, which I'm assuming you are because you had s*x with a stranger to who you had no commitment, then ANY man is going to take you up on it. That's reality sweetie, not something particular to Italian men. You really should value yourself more than to be having s*x with someone who is not committed to you in marriage. Additionally, at 15 years old you are not mature enough to handle the complications that come along with s*x, which is evident in your experience. Please don't continue to degrade yourself like that, you're worth so much more.

As a full italian i can say dont give up hope yet! All italian men are horny but hey so are americans. They only hit on us americans because none of their girls will hook up with them. The good men are the ones sitting who smile without whistling, open a car door without insisting on getting in with you, and italians are known as true gentlemens. you just have to find them first. First, a clarification: "age of majority" in Italy is 18, but "age of consent" is 14.

As said by other users, just some (not only teens, though) men act like you say (perhaps there were 100 men in a place and 5 where whistling, and is normal you remember those 5 and not the remnant 95...), but usually they bark (whistle) a lot but they don't bite :) Just don't care.

Italians and Europeans in general are more laid down, for sure more open, about s*x; it's more up to you clearly stating what you want and what you don't, what you allow to a man and what's off-limits.

As for dating, it's basically the same, since "dating" as an American habits is quite different from European way; that doesn't mean Euro way is "just s*x and now", but the kind of things in the US you do dating as a couple here are more common when dating s a group of friends. One-on-one dating is by it's own nature mostly saw as a more "intimate" meet.

And this is even more true when an Italian (be aware, man or woman!) meet a tourist who's going to stay in Italy for just some days, as said by stato quantico, above.

absolutely no.i'm italian and i can tell you that not all are like him.As in every place in the world there are different types of people,and perhaps you've known 10-15 men out of 30 million or so...also,it depends on where you go in italy as it is a mixture of different cultures and customs and ways of living.it's the same all over the world i think.

Probably here is this, you were on vacation... he knew that you werent going to be there forever, so why waste his time dating you when all he wanted was a piece of A and you were the person that gave it to him, so why are you complaining when you gave it to him. Fisrt of all in Italy underage is 18!

Italian guys aren't obsessed with s*x more than americans but you have to consider that we have loads of tourists here in Italy.. and tourists stay here just for a couple of weeks, so the only men that try to seduce tourists are the ones who just want to "have fun"!
