Are all LCD monitors hd?

im trying to set it up so i can play xbox 360 on my computer monitor and im wondering if all lcd monitors are hd?

no not all LCD tvs are HD. there are just normal LCD tvs and there are HD, it will say on the box of the tv  if its HD or not.

Well, most current computer displays are, though at awkward aspect sizes when compared to US HDTV systems. Look for either 1280x720 or 1920x1080 as those are the same resolutions American HDTV equipment works at and thus won't need scaling or letterboxing ugliness. Also, make sure your monitor sports HDCP to ensure it can connect to a range of devices at full resolution. I think the Xbox needs HDCP for video out, and I'm pretty sure the PlayStation III does.
