Are all TV program codes the same for each type of remote control?

I found two documents that list program cdes for tv manufacturers.

But i noticed each document showed a different code..for example:

Manufaturer "Akai" document 1 showed these codes:

031, 070, 146, 004, 148, 124, 226, 104, 108

Document 2 showed only: 0030

Any ideas if the codes differ per remote control manufacturer or cable provider?

I'm assuming you meant the codes to program a multi-remote into a TV. These codes are used for the infrared signals, and vary on the model of the TV. Often, manufacturers use only a few different codes, so you can simply try them all. The best way to find them is to do a Google search for the TV model.
