If you are against eating dogs, why are do you eat meat at all? Isn't it hypocritical.

  1. It might be hypocritical, but to be honest, I don't really care. Chicken is my favorite food, but if someone ate dog in front of me, I'd pretty likely need to be restrained. That's just how it is. People have all kinds of beliefs that can't be explained or justified, and this is one of them. You're not going to convert anyone by pointing out the obvious hypocrisy.

  2. Not really.

I mean, obviously, we're animals, and we are above normal animals- sorry for pro animal people, but we are more smart, more able them then, etc.

But yes, if animals are breed and farmed for meat, I consider them all the same. I wouldn't eat dog in this country, but if I went to China and went to a proper restaurant, I'd be keen to try dog.

I've had ostrich before, in France- it was nice. I wouldn't order it special, but it was nice.
